CH2M HILL Presence and Commitment in Brazil

Since 1996, CH2M HILL’s São Paulo, Brazil office has been supporting clients in oil & gas, mining, chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, power, manufacturing, transportation, water, and the environmental sector. CH2M HILL joined the discussion about the significant investments and opportunities presented by the World Cup, including infrastructure required for the event and the “legacy of the Cup,” urban improvements that can be made in preparation for the Cup which will generate a better quality of life for the country. CH2M HILL’s Brazil team is well positioned to share CH2M HILL experiences and know how from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic program.

In April, 2009, a delegation of CH2M HILL executives from Brazil and the U.S., including Pablo Ibañez, Manuel Aguirre, and Tom Searle attended the World Economic Forum in Rio de Janeiro. The Forum addressed a number of critical areas, including the Brazilian government’s initiative to invest $240 billion in infrastructure projects as part of its Growth Acceleration Plan.
